Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Favvi ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use favvi.ai and related services ("the Service"). We are committed to handling data responsibly and in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

1. Data We Collect

Account data — when a hotel signs up we collect the hotel name, contact email, and chosen passwords (used for portal access).

Billing data — payments are handled by our payment provider. We receive subscription status, customer and subscription identifiers, but never your full card details.

Guest chat messages — messages guests send to the AI assistant, which may include a room number or request details. Guests choose what to share; the Service does not require guests to provide personal data.

Guest requests and feedback — requests routed to staff (room number, department, request details) and post-stay feedback (optional name, room number, ratings, comments).

Staff notification data — if staff enable push notifications, we store a device subscription token, name, and department.

Technical data — basic logs (such as IP addresses and timestamps) generated by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

2. How We Use Data

We do not sell personal data. We do not use guest messages for advertising.

3. AI Processing

Guest and staff messages are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI models to generate responses. Messages are transmitted to Anthropic for this purpose under their data processing terms. We configure the AI using the hotel information provided by each hotel.

4. Third-Party Processors

We use a small number of trusted providers to operate the Service:

Each provider processes data only as needed to provide their service to us.

5. Data Retention

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA or another jurisdiction with similar protections, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@favvi.ai. Guests of a hotel using Favvi should contact their hotel in the first instance, as the hotel controls guest data collected through its portal.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

The Service uses browser local storage to keep staff and managers signed in on their devices. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in a managed database. Access to production data is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

9. Children

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the Service.

11. Contact
